Mahlkonig EK43 Shear Plate - Aluminum
The shear plate is designed to keep the motor from being damaged if the burrs seize up; it will break before the motor does. Also used in the EK43S grinder. Please note that this specific shear plate will only fit the aluminum prebreaker, which is black in color. This prebreaker was used in all EK43S models, as well as any 2nd generation EK43 grinders that have round, stainless on/off buttons.
