Backflush Disk - Rubber (Blind Filter)
50mm rubber blind filter for backflushing group heads on commercial machines with solenoid operation.
This blind filter can sometimes be used with a bottomless portafilter, depending on your basket. If the perforations in your basket are wider than the 50mm diameter of this disc, water may pass through during backflushing.
How to Use: Remove your portafilter basket, insert the blind filter, and follow the instructions for the recommended process on your machine found in your manual.
Installation: Place the blind filter in the portafilter (with the basket removed), ensuring the flat portion covers the hole to the spout. The small protrusion should point upward for easy removal after backflushing.
Important: Not suitable for lever machines or units without a three-way solenoid valve.
Home models like Saeco Aroma, Via Venezia, Sirena, Breville, Francis Francis/illy, DeLonghi, and Capresso semi-automatics don’t require backflushing as they lack a solenoid dispensing system.
